Ai weiwei Foam.

Ai Weiwei heeft een fototentoonstelling in het Foam fotografiemuseum op de keizersgracht. Achter zijn tentoongestelde foto's is al eerder dit beroemde behangetje geplaatst met de beruchte middelvinger die Ai Weiwei weleens gebruikt op zijn foto's om zijn ongenoegen kenbaar te maken.

Foam presenteert #save passage#, een tentoonstelling van de wereldberoemde Chinese kunstenaar Ai Weiwei. Over de strijd tussen het individu en de machtstructuren die de maatschappij domineren.

Onderdeel van de tentoonstelling zijn de foto's van de vluchtelingenstroom die Ai Weiwei heeft gemaakt met zijn Iphone.Midden in de zaal liggen de readymades; zwembanden.

Ai Weiwei is een vooraanstaand maatschappelijk en cultureel commentator, een voorvechter van mensenrechten en democratie.

Bovendien een onvermoeibaar vechter en scherp criticus van het politieke systeem in China.
